Make Statistics CUTE Again

David performed an extremely complicated statistical analysis of a global cohort of patients. David was instrumental in this project, and not only that he masters the required statistical techniques and software, but more importantly, effectively mediated the statistical language to me. The paper eventually was accepted in the Lancet Global Health, a prestigious journal. David was always available; he is very pleasant and nice to work with and no doubt I will collaborate with him in the future.

David demonstrated statistical skills and careful attention to detail in analyzing data to predict twins’ birthweight using ultrasound measurements. He carefully validated the dataset, corrected errors, and removed potential outliers to enhance the reliability of the analysis. Using a thoughtful two-stage modeling approach, he first predicted ultrasound measures at the time of birth and then applied these predictions to estimate birthweight with notable accuracy.

To address the variability in patient-derived cells and ensure robust assay validation, we collaborated with David. David’s expertise in statistical analysis enabled us to accurately interpret validation data and account for patient-specific differences. His methods provided precise predictions of test responses, contributing to a study recently published in a high-impact rheumatology journal.

David is an exceptional data scientist and statistician who played a pivotal role in building and refining our predictive analytics models at Autoto. His ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights has directly contributed to the development of our platform. Beyond his technical expertise, David’s collaborative nature and skill in simplifying complex concepts make him a pleasure to work with.
